Since the formation of MapCom in 2004, the company has gone from strength to strength, and is now the roomleading consultancy and training company in Kurdistan of Iraq. The company’s staff have a thorough knowledge and experiance in the fileds mentioned above ranging from 6 upto 22 years.

MapCom is registered in Kurdistan of Iraq and we are based at Zanko Qtr., Erbil, Iraq . Our work is specialist in six main fields as below:

• Survey: We have experience 22 years in this field he worked on several type of survey equipment, we worked for many organization and ministries.
• Environmental and Socioeconomic Impact Assessment: An experience of 10 years concerning EIA and SIA processes. So many projects (e.g. cement factories, hydraulic power plants, gas pipeline routes, seismic and hydrocarbon exploitation  ...etc.), have been conducted for both EIA and SIA in a professionalized manner by our company.
• Information Technology: We have experience 8 years in information technology field we worked for international organization and have installed many systems.
• GIS: We have experience 7 years in Geographic Information System we worked for international organization by using much software (Arc Info, ArcGIS, MapInfo, Envi and Surfer).
• Geologic and Hydrologic: We have experience 7 years in Geologic and Hydrologic field by producing maps, survey and monitoring in the fields.
• Graphic Design: We have experience 6 years by producing many product logo, magazine, Book, map, profiles and Designs.
